Fiscal close reminder

FY23-24 closes Monday, July 22, 2024, this is the last day to post to the General Ledger; all journal entries must be submitted and approved by 11:59 p.m. See FY2023-2024 Fiscal Close calendar for dates related to year-end close. Note: deadlines listed in the calendar are established by central offices. Internal department deadlines may be earlier to account for workload and business processes. Check with your department business office for more information.

Fiscal close resources

• Fiscal Close Overview: The Fiscal Year-End Close Overview provides an outline of the fiscal close processes, including a detailed calendar with deadlines and support resources.  
• Office Hours: Available daily through Tuesday, July 23, offering real-time resolution of questions with special topic breakout rooms. This support channel can be utilized to answer any individual questions users may have. 
  • To allow central teams to focus on fiscal close activities, Finance Office Hours will be suspended starting Wednesday, July 24. Regular sessions will resume on August 6, 2024, with sessions held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week.

Deadline: Campus General Ledger 2024 transactions

Last day to post to the General Ledger.

Deadline: Central Campus Funding Allocation Requests to Budget Office

Last day for Dean/VC Office to submit for previously approved Central Campus Funding Commitments to BIA analyst.

Funding Entry - Monthly

Update Funding Entry as needed before the July pay confirm.

Thursday, August 8, 7 p.m.

Deadline: Period 1 Closes to Campus

Last day for departments to process documents for the July(Period 1) fiscal period. Documents must be fully approved by 7:00pm.
